Sephora Operations Consultant, part-time retail position in Calgary, AB with stockroom and customer service responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
  • Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone
  • Ensure compliance with Sephora's merchandising concepts and participate in shortage/loss reduction programs
  • Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain stockroom according to company standards
  • Process transfers, damages and testers per company procedures
  • Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
  • Ensure safety and tidiness standards are respected and maintained throughout the store
  • Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
  • Participate in inventory control initiatives
  • Perform cashier functions as designated for cross-training purposes

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Point-of-Sale (POS) technology
  • Strong arithmetic and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attentiveness to client and business needs
  • Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fragrance-filled environment

Experience
