Sephora Operations Consultant, Calgary, AB — full-time retail operations and stockroom role with client service responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
  • Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS (MPOS) systems
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone
  • Monitor and maintain Sephora's merchandising concepts and visual standards
  • Participate in shortage and loss reduction programs
  • Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain stockroom according to company standards
  • Process transfers, damages, and testers per company procedures
  • Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
  • Ensure safety and tidiness standards are consistently respected and maintained
  • Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
  • Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
  • Participate in inventory control activities
  • Cross-train in cashier functions as designated

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
  • Good computer skills and arithmetic proficiency
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
