Sephora Operations Consultant, Calgary, AB — full-time retail operations and stockroom role with client service responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS (MPOS) systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone
- Monitor and maintain Sephora's merchandising concepts and visual standards
- Participate in shortage and loss reduction programs
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain stockroom according to company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers per company procedures
- Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
- Ensure safety and tidiness standards are consistently respected and maintained
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control activities
- Cross-train in cashier functions as designated
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- Good computer skills and arithmetic proficiency
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves
Skills
Experience
1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom or operations capacity. Entry-level candidates with strong foundational retail knowledge will be considered.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
Workplace
This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
