Sephora Canada hiring an Operations Consultant (Part-time) in Ajax, ON — manage stockroom operations, inventory control and POS support.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and process incoming shipments; organize and maintain the stockroom to company standards.
  • Process transfers, damages and testers; check in visual merchandising elements and report missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Support inventory control activities and participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization of the cashier zone and stock areas; ensure compliance with sampling and merchandising policies.
  • Provide client service support on the sales floor as required and assist in cashier duties; train colleagues on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems when needed.
  • Communicate inventory issues and operational concerns to Supervisors and Store Management in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of retail or client-service experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

1–2 years of retail or client service experience, ideally with prior stockroom or inventory responsibilities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
