Sephora is hiring an Operations Associate (Part Time) in Tacoma, WA — hourly role supporting inventory, merchandising and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily store operational tasks including inventory management, stock replenishment and order fulfilment to maintain availability and presentation standards.
- Support visual merchandising and promotional setups to ensure the store consistently reflects brand directives and event executions.
- Contribute to delivery of exceptional client experiences by assisting the sales team, maintaining store readiness, and responding to client needs proactively.
- Uphold company policies and operational procedures to maintain a safe, secure and compliant store environment.
- Adhere to assigned schedule and staffing requirements; be available for peak retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality or a client‑facing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with strong time management and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable supporting a high‑energy team and sales objectives.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing and movement for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements for the designated part‑time schedule.

Entry level: typically 1–2 years in retail, hospitality or another customer‑service environment with familiarity in inventory handling and basic merchandising.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or beauty training is advantageous but not required.
