Sephora San Jose seeks a Part-Time Operations Associate — $22.60–$27.70/hr; manage inventory, visual merchandising and daily store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures and maintaining operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes: stock replenishment, cycle counts, order fulfillment and shrink control.
  • Execute visual merchandising and promotional setups to ensure the store reflects brand standards and event themes.
  • Assist the sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences and support achievement of store sales goals.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, teamwork and adherence to Sephora’s safety and operational policies.
  • Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance; be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Clear oral communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with diverse clientele and colleagues.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine stocking tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn product knowledge and operational procedures.
