Sephora Monterey — Operations Associate (Part-time). $20.85–$25.54/hr. Manage inventory, visual merchandising and store operations; nights/weekends required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support all daily store operations including inventory receipt, stock replenishment and order fulfillment to maintain product availability.
  • Execute visual merchandising and promotional setups to ensure the store reflects brand standards and event requirements.
  • Maintain operational standards—organise backstock, perform routine store audits and uphold housekeeping and safety protocols.
  • Deliver exceptional client service on the floor and support the sales team in achieving store performance targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and assist with ad-hoc operational projects as needed.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; ensure punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a client-facing environment (or equivalent transferable experience).
  • Proven organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-focused and goal driven.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and convey it to clients and colleagues.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform stock-handling tasks.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
