Sephora Singapore seeks Mobile Software Engineer to build backend services and ERP solutions. Full-time hybrid role requiring 3+ years Java, Ruby on Rails, or Golang experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java, Ruby on Rails, and/or Golang
- Build microservices, serverless functions, and agentic applications for ERP systems
- Participate in projects to deliver new and innovative ecommerce features
- Work on engineering initiatives to improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience
- Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of backend or full-stack development experience with strong software engineering foundation
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, or comparable backend framework
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
