Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise exempt and non-exempt staff within assigned shift; oversee safety, sanitation, and facility programs
- Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic and tactical plans guided by organizational principles and standards
- Build, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve performance objectives and service levels
- Allocate equipment and labor resources efficiently to meet departmental budgets and key performance indicators
- Provide coaching and development support to direct reports to ensure effective department management
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Protection, Human Resources, Finance, and other support functions
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop preventative measures and drive productivity improvements
- Administer policies and guidelines consistently, counseling associates on performance and behavioral concerns
- Ensure compliance with company safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and state requirements
- Lead by example, modeling teamwork, collaboration, and alignment with Sephora organizational values
Qualifications
- Five to ten years of relevant work experience in a distribution center environment
- Proficiency or rapid ability to develop competency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Autostore, or Pouch Packing
- Comprehensive understanding of production floor operations including Inbound, Outbound/Shipping, Dotcom, and Inventory Control
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and develop exempt leaders
- Proven experience managing large teams of up to 300 associates
- Knowledge of distribution operating systems, warehouse logistics, and transportation-related activities
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Five to ten years of relevant experience in a distribution center environment, with demonstrated success in supervisory or operations leadership roles within warehouse, production, and logistics functions.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
