Manager, Facilities Distribution Center at Sephora in Las Vegas, NV. Lead maintenance operations and ensure OSHA compliance at our distribution center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct assessment, repair, and documentation for equipment and facility preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities
- Manage and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance for motorized material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and HVAC systems
- Anticipate potential facility and equipment problems and develop action plans to prevent operational disruptions
- Manage capital budget activities for facility-wide and departmental equipment upgrade projects
- Maintain parts inventory for the maintenance department to promote service efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-mandated safety standards for maintenance, mechanical activities, sanitation, and housekeeping
- Partner with vendors and contractors on equipment installation, training, and acceptance
- Conduct OSHA and state-mandated training on maintenance and facility management requirements
- Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team on skill enhancement and career development
- Oversee performance standards and safety compliance for maintenance technicians and sanitation associates
- Conduct material handling equipment certification training as a Train-the-Trainer
- Direct setup, teardown, and cleanup of company social functions, meetings, and events
- Maintain flexible work schedule and work designated shifts and overtime as needed
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in relevant field (preferred) or 3+ years of facilities and maintenance supervision/management experience, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment
- Experience managing a budget
- Automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance experience
- Understanding of and experience with HVAC systems
- Previous experience using, training, and enforcing lock-out/tag-out procedures, fall protection, and OSHA and state-mandated safety regulations
- Welding and/or fabrication experience
- Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- CFM certification or pursuing CFM certification (preferred)
- Formal electrical/electronic, technician, mechanical millwright training, or welding experience (preferred)
Skills
Experience
3 or more years of facilities and maintenance supervision or management experience, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment. Experience managing budgets and working with automated process control or material handling equipment is preferred.
Education
Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent experience in facilities and maintenance supervision may substitute.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 99,025 to USD 110,675 per annum.
