Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary marketing contact and strategic advisor for 20+ makeup brand partners, establishing strong relationships and comprehensive knowledge of their business priorities and goals
  • Guide senior brand marketing leaders on both strategic and tactical opportunities to drive brand performance at Sephora
  • Develop marketing recommendations across sampling, social media, paid media, and consumer messaging to achieve shared business objectives
  • Advise select brands with limited marketing resources on strategic direction and optimal investment allocation
  • Build collaborative marketing programs that secure brand participation in key Sephora initiatives and support category growth
  • Analyze and report on ROI for Sephora and brand marketing programs, using data-driven insights to create win-win outcomes
  • Manage Beauty Insider sampling and promotional plans, optimizing brand investment while meeting Sephora's business needs
  • Identify opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships, building business cases for innovative initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, creative, store marketing, store education, loyalty, and analytics teams in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Mentor junior team members while maintaining individual contributor responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or brand management
  • Agency, retail, and/or beauty industry experience preferred
  • Strong background in digital, social media, and non-traditional marketing
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate obstacles and generate alternative solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills with confidence presenting strategic perspectives in leadership forums
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
