Sephora management accounting intern in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Six-month role beginning January 2027 supporting financial control and performance analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse financial results, variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics, then propose corrective actions
- Develop management dashboards and ensure regular reporting to senior leadership
- Support operational teams in monitoring performance and budgets
- Participate in constructing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Monitor budget evolution and update forecasts based on operational variance
- Ensure alignment of financial projections with strategic business objectives
- Conduct detailed cost analyses by activity or project
- Identify and recommend cost optimization levers to enhance profitability and reduce expenses
- Track key cost indicators including standard cost, actual cost, and margin performance
- Implement or optimize financial tracking tools (ERP, business intelligence platforms, management dashboards)
- Ensure reliability of financial data and compliance with internal procedures and standards
- Contribute to cross-functional projects including digitalization, operational transformation, and internal audits
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a business school programme or equivalent university degree (Master 1 or Master 2 level)
- Demonstrated rigour, responsiveness, and strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with the ability to develop practical solutions
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Genuine interest in information systems and financial tools

Experience
Beginner-level experience; university-level coursework in business or finance; exposure to financial analysis or accounting concepts through prior coursework or internships preferred.
Education
Current enrolment in or completion of a Master-level business school programme or equivalent university degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or related discipline.
