Sephora Management Accountant position in Belgium (hybrid role) | Finance Controller | LVMH
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Belgium Regional Director and Zone Director on economic performance management and strategic decision-making
- Analyze complete P&L across Belgium and individual stores to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans
- Drive store economics by analyzing key performance levers including revenue, margin, operating costs, productivity, and profitability
- Challenge financial assumptions and action plans to improve sustained economic performance
- Lead budget, forecast, and revised plan development in collaboration with operational teams
- Manage margin performance in partnership with Offer, CRM, and other relevant departments
- Serve as primary financial liaison for support functions to optimize costs across Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform strategic and operational decisions
- Build business cases for new projects and analyze profitability in collaboration with peer controllers
- Ensure accuracy of monthly account closures and Belgium financial statements
- Produce and analyze monthly financial reports for operational and senior leadership
- Maintain quality, consistency, and reliability of financial data across LVMH systems
- Perform variance analysis between actual, budget, and forecast results
- Prepare for Business Reviews and executive steering committees
- Continuously improve financial tools, processes, and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) in Commerce, Finance, Audit, or Management Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience
- Proven experience in operational management accounting within retail, multi-site, or business-focused environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Competency with SAP
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication capabilities
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
- Business-oriented mindset with demonstrated capacity to support operational decision-making
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience, with particular value placed on operational management accounting in retail, multi-site, or business-focused environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) from a business school or specialized program in Finance, Audit, or Management Accounting.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Brussels, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium.
