Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Beauty Advisors to deliver exceptional customer service, professional makeup artistry and personalised consultations.
  • Design and deliver ongoing training programmes in makeup techniques, product knowledge, service protocols and sales skills to raise departmental expertise.
  • Drive commercial performance through appointment-led services, proactive client engagement, upselling and conversion of in-store artistry services.
  • Manage the Booxi appointment system to optimise bookings, team availability and service throughput.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality My Skin Diag consultations across skin tone and type to support personalised product recommendations.
  • Oversee merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory accuracy and presentation standards to maintain the department as a destination for discovery.
  • Plan and execute makeup activations, seasonal campaigns and Beauty Hub events in partnership with store leadership.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, manage employee relations processes and implement development plans to sustain team performance.
  • Support operational tasks for new store openings when required, including unboxing, stock preparation and department setup.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in beauty or retail leadership, with demonstrable expertise in makeup artistry and service delivery.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop a high‑performing team, with experience in performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales through services and product recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑relationship skills, with aptitude for personalised consultations.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience
