Sephora Munich is hiring a full-time Makeup Artist—join the team to deliver beauty services, retail advising and merchandising in Munich.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise and support customers across Make Up, Skincare, Hair Care and Fragrance departments, delivering personalised consultations and product recommendations.
- Perform beauty services on the sales floor and in the Beauty Hub, including short services and scheduled beauty classes to drive repeat business and customer engagement.
- Apply the Sephora Attitude—welcome, know, close—through consultative selling and building customer relationships at eye level.
- Maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards; prepare products for sale and support merchandising updates and conversions.
- Manage stock movements, warehousing and replenishment on the sales floor; participate in inventories and merchandising maintenance.
- Operate the cash register and complete other daily retail operations tasks as required.
- Contribute to team development by sharing expertise, supporting creation of team looks, and helping to implement brand activations and in-store animations.
- Drive store KPIs including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket value, customer satisfaction and number of services delivered.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational or in-house training in cosmetics or the relevant department (minimum training duration: 6 months).
- Minimum three years' professional experience in a comparable retail or beauty advisory role.
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills with demonstrated customer-facing maturity.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends and brand assortments across makeup, skincare, hair care and fragrances.
- Organised, reliable and collaborative with a motivating and friendly manner.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the relevant department (Make Up or cosmetics retail) and completion of a recognised training program of at least six months.
Education
Vocational training or equivalent in cosmetics/cosmetology or completion of an accredited in-house beauty training program (minimum 6 months).
