Sephora seeks a Makeup Artist in Hamburg (full- or part-time) to provide expert beauty services, drive sales and lead in-store beauty classes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised makeup consultations and services across makeup, skincare, hair care and fragrance, building long-term customer relationships.
  • Drive sales through expert product knowledge and by applying the Sephora Attitude: welcoming, advising and closing.
  • Teach and lead beauty classes and short in-store services; contribute to Beauty Hub activities and development of team looks to support brands and campaigns.
  • Ensure merchandise presentation meets visual merchandising standards; maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the backstock area.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, support inventory processes and participate in merchandising updates, cleaning and daily store operations.
  • Monitor and contribute to store KPIs including conversion rate, average basket, items per basket and customer satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in cosmetics or equivalent beauty training (minimum 6 months).
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in the relevant beauty department or in beauty retail consulting.
  • Proven ability to consult and communicate with a diverse retail clientele; strong customer service orientation.
  • Solid knowledge of current beauty trends, brands and product categories.
  • Reliable, organised team player with a motivating and friendly manner.

Experience
