Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and sales across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance, applying the Sephora Attitude (Welcoming, Knowing, Closing).
  • Demonstrate and sell products through expert product knowledge and hands-on application; build long-term customer relationships and follow-up.
  • Provide short services and full beauty classes; operate the Beauty Hub and contribute to the development of team looks for brand activations and in-store animations.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: ensure product presentation, assortment upkeep, and cleanliness of sales furniture and displays.
  • Manage stock and warehousing tasks including replenishment, preparing products for sale, supporting merchandising conversions and participating in inventories.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (cash register) and complete additional daily retail tasks while meeting store KPIs (conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer satisfaction, number of services).

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational or in-house training in cosmetics/beauty departments (minimum 6 months).
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a relevant beauty department or retail cosmetics environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and client advisory skills; demonstrated experience in retail consulting and customer relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of current beauty trends, product categories and brands.
  • Professional, organised and team-oriented demeanour with a motivating and customer-focused approach.
  • Fluency in English or the country’s native language (German).
