Sephora Makeup Artist position in Berlin; full-time or part-time retail beauty consultant role with 3+ years experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active support and personalized beauty advice to customers across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance departments
- Establish and maintain customer relationships through product expertise and the Sephora Attitude (Welcoming, Knowing, Closing)
- Deliver short, insightful beauty services and implement beauty classes across all departments
- Maintain the Beauty Hub and develop team looks to support brands and brand activations
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising specifications and maintain pristine product presentation
- Manage assortment, merchandise maintenance, and stock rotation on the sales floor and warehouse
- Support merchandising updates, conversion projects, and inventory operations
- Operate the point-of-sale system and perform daily cash handling
- Monitor and contribute to key performance indicators including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket value, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Completed professional training in beauty retail or makeup artistry (minimum 6 months formal training)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in beauty retail, makeup consultation, or related customer-facing beauty roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to connect with diverse customers
- Strong product knowledge and established understanding of beauty industry trends and innovations
- Proficiency in retail operations, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management
- Fluency in English or native German language

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in beauty retail, makeup consultation, or customer-facing roles within the prestige beauty industry. Completed formal training in the respective beauty department or field (minimum 6 months).
Education
Completed professional training in beauty retail, makeup artistry, or cosmetics consultation (minimum 6 months). Relevant beauty industry certifications or credentials are preferred.
