Sephora Aachen is hiring a Part-time Makeup Artist — deliver beauty services and retail expertise at a leading prestige beauty retailer.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Advise and sell makeup products and services on the sales floor, applying the Sephora Attitude (welcoming, knowing, closing) to build customer relationships.
  • Deliver short and insightful beauty services across categories; lead beauty classes and demonstrations; manage the Beauty Hub.
  • Develop and share product and trend knowledge with colleagues; contribute to team looks and in-store activations supporting brands and merchandising events.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met: maintain product presentation, stock the sales floor, prepare product for sale and keep fixtures and products clean.
  • Perform warehousing tasks, stock replenishment, assist with merchandising updates and conversions, and participate in inventories.
  • Operate the cash register and support daily store operations; track and help improve KPIs such as conversion rate, items per basket and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Completed professional training in makeup (minimum training period 6 months).
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in a makeup or cosmetics department.
  • Proven retail and client-consulting experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of beauty products, brands and current makeup trends.
  • Fluent in German or English; ability to converse professionally with diverse clientele.
  • Organised, reliable, team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience

At least 3 years of hands-on experience working in a makeup or cosmetics department within retail, including direct client consulting, product sales and service delivery.
