Sephora Hamburg: Make Up Artist (full-time, permanent). Deliver beauty consultation, makeup services, and visual merchandising expertise in a prestigious beauty retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active support and advice to customers across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance departments
- Deliver product expertise through in-depth knowledge and establish meaningful customer relationships
- Implement and conduct beauty classes and demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain responsibility for the Beauty Hub and develop team looks supporting brand trends and in-store animations
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the sales floor
- Manage assortment, merchandise maintenance, and stock availability on the sales floor and in warehouse
- Prepare and merchandise products for sale, including converting and updating displays
- Conduct inventory counts, operate cash registers, and support daily operational tasks
- Deliver exceptional service while embodying the Sephora Attitude: Welcoming, Knowing, and Closing
Qualifications
- Completed professional training in relevant beauty departments (minimum 6 months training period)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in beauty retail or makeup artistry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele
- Demonstrated expertise in retail, customer consulting, and relationship building
- Strong knowledge of beauty industry trends and product categories
- Fluency in English or native German language proficiency
- Customer-oriented mindset with demonstrated reliability and organizational skills

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in beauty retail, makeup artistry, or a related beauty department; completed training in the respective specialty with at least 6 months of formal training.
Education
Completed professional training in beauty-related departments or equivalent certification in makeup artistry or beauty consultation.
