Make-up Artist position at Sephora Cologne, Germany. Full-time or part-time beauty sales and consultation role with LVMH's prestige beauty retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active support and beauty consultation to customers across makeup, skincare, fragrance, and haircare departments, leveraging in-depth product knowledge and industry trend awareness
- Execute sales through consultative selling techniques, establishing customer relationships at eye level and achieving conversion rate and basket size KPIs
- Deliver short, insightful beauty services and skincare consultations in all departments; implement beauty classes and develop team looks to support brand promotions and seasonal animations
- Maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards in accordance with established specifications
- Ensure sales floor stock levels are maintained, merchandise is properly organized, and products are prepared for sale and display
- Perform housekeeping duties including furniture and product cleaning, cash register operations, and support for merchandising updates and inventory counts
- Share expertise with team members and continuously develop personal beauty knowledge and consulting capabilities
Qualifications
- Completed professional training in relevant beauty departments (minimum 6 months training period)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in beauty retail, makeup artistry, or skincare consultation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage customers at eye level
- Mature experience in retail consulting and customer relationship management
- Strong knowledge of beauty industry trends and product categories
- Fluency in English or native German language proficiency

Education
Completed professional training in the respective beauty department(s), with a minimum training period of 6 months.
