Sephora Make Up Artist position in Bochum, Germany – full-time beauty retail role offering customer consultation, services, and visual merchandising expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active support and expert advice to customers across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance departments, communicating beauty trends and product benefits
- Deliver personalized beauty services and styling recommendations, establishing meaningful customer relationships
- Conduct beauty classes and develop team looks to support brand initiatives, trend presentations, and in-store animations
- Ensure proper product presentation and visual merchandising compliance; maintain assortment accuracy and merchandise condition
- Keep sales floor fully stocked, prepare products for sale, and maintain cleanliness of fixtures and merchandise
- Support warehouse operations, stock inventory on sales floor and in warehouse, assist with merchandising updates and conversions
- Process transactions at point of sale and support cash register operations
- Participate in inventory counts and track key performance indicators including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket value, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Completed formal training in makeup artistry or relevant beauty department (minimum 6 months training period)
- Fluent in English or German (native or professional proficiency)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage customers at professional level
- Team-oriented with reliable, organized approach to work
- Mature experience in customer consulting and retail operations

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in makeup artistry, beauty retail, or customer-facing beauty service roles, with demonstrated expertise in customer consulting and retail operations.
Education
Completed formal training in makeup artistry or relevant beauty department (minimum 6 months training period); secondary education or equivalent.
