Sephora Make-up Artist position in Berlin, Germany. Full-time or part-time beauty retail role combining customer service, makeup artistry, and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active support and personalized beauty advice to customers across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance departments
- Drive sales through in-depth product knowledge and establish meaningful customer relationships at eye level
- Conduct beauty services and classes, continuously advancing personal expertise and sharing insights with team members
- Develop and implement team looks and animations to support brand partnerships and beauty trends
- Maintain product presentation in accordance with visual merchandising specifications
- Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, prepare products for sale, and manage inventory and warehousing tasks
- Operate point-of-sale systems and support merchandising updates and conversions
- Monitor key performance indicators including conversion rate, items per basket, average basket value, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Completed formal training in relevant beauty or retail departments (minimum 6 months training period)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a related beauty or retail department
- Excellent communication skills and customer-facing expertise
- Strong knowledge of the beauty industry, emerging trends, and product portfolio
- Fluency in English or the native language of the country
- Demonstrated team spirit, reliability, and organizational capability
