Sephora seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician for its Las Vegas Distribution Center to maintain and repair facility and material-handling equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and support site operations and events. This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday through Friday, with required overtime based on business needs; the hourly pay range is $26.25–$28.10, and some schedules may qualify for shift differential.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned equipment and facility repairs and upgrades, including plumbing, painting and basic facility upkeep.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned motorized material-handling and warehousing equipment, including lubrication, cleaning and simple repairs.
  • Check, change and clean powered industrial truck batteries.
  • Document equipment repairs and adjustments.
  • Provide general labor and perform custodial work and household fixture repairs.
  • Operate motorized material-handling equipment as needed to complete maintenance assignments.
  • Assist with setup, teardown and cleanup for company social functions, meetings and events.
  • Follow safety laws and Sephora safety policies, wear appropriate work attire, and report actual or potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
  • Follow Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including required overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training and/or experience.
  • Background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Material-handling equipment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 32 feet when operating a scissor lift and other warehouse lift equipment.
  • Manual dexterity to operate power tools and other mechanical equipment safely and competently.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26.25 to USD 28.10 per hour.
