Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately execute preventive maintenance protocols on motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
  • Assess, perform, and meticulously document facility repairs, adjustments, and equipment modifications
  • Competently complete complex mechanical and electrical repairs and system upgrades
  • Conduct OSHA and state-mandated training pertaining to maintenance and sanitation activities
  • Comply with all safety regulations and Sephora safety policies, reporting violations and potential hazards to management
  • Maintain flexible work schedules and perform overtime as operationally required
  • Operate and maintain standard hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in a safe and proficient manner
  • Work collaboratively with external service providers, property asset managers, and internal technicians

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, including uploading and downloading PLCs, System Control Software (SCS), scanners, photo sensors, remote Input/Output modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology (preferred) plus 2 years of maintenance experience in facilities, distribution, or manufacturing environments, OR minimum 4 years of comparable maintenance experience
  • Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance experience
  • Proven experience with Lock-out/Tag-out processes, fall protection, and OSHA regulatory compliance
  • Extensive background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Welding and/or fabrication experience preferred
  • Certification or licensing in CFM, Electrical, HVAC, or lift truck operation preferred
