Sephora Maintenance Technician III position in Las Vegas, NV distribution center. Full-time role with $34.25–$36.65/hr and shift differential eligibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately complete preventive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
- Assess, perform, and properly document necessary equipment and facility repairs and adjustments
- Competently complete complex mechanical and electrical equipment and facility repairs and upgrades
- Conduct required OSHA and state-mandated training pertaining to maintenance and sanitation activities
- Comply with all safety laws and Sephora's safety policies, reporting violations and potential violations to management
- Maintain flexible work schedule and adhere to designated shift and overtime requirements
- Work with local service providers, inspectors, property asset managers, and other technicians to ensure optimal facility and equipment performance
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, including uploading and downloading PLCs
- Demonstrated experience with System Control Software (SCS), scanners, electronics such as photo sensors, remote Input/Output modules (I/Os), servo drives, and variable frequency drives
- Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology (preferred) with 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution, or manufacturing environment, OR at least 4 years of maintenance experience in such environments
- Proven experience with automated process control or MHE maintenance
- Previous experience using and enforcing Lock-out/Tag-out processes, fall protection, and other OSHA regulations
- Extensive mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair capabilities
- Welding and/or fabrication experience
- CFM, Electrical, HVAC, or lift truck certifications/licenses (preferred)

Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, uploading and downloading PLCs, System Control Software (SCS), scanners, electronics, photo sensors, remote I/O modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives. Additionally, 2 years of maintenance experience in facilities, distribution, or manufacturing environments (if holding an Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology), or at least 4 years of direct maintenance experience in these environments. Extensive background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, automated process control, and MHE maintenance is required. Experience with welding, fabrication, and OSHA compliance enforcement is also expected.
Education
Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required for all candidates.
