Sephora Las Vegas Distribution Center seeks Maintenance Technician III with 4+ years facilities/manufacturing experience. $34.25–$36.65/hr, full-time, Monday–Thursday, 5am–3:30pm.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on motorized material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
  • Assess, document, and execute necessary equipment and facility repairs, adjustments, and upgrades
  • Conduct complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on standard warehousing equipment
  • Maintain proficiency in PLC logic principles, system control software (SCS), and variable frequency drive operation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-mandated safety regulations, including lock-out/tag-out protocols and fall protection
  • Collaborate with local service providers, inspectors, property asset managers, and fellow technicians to maintain overall facility performance
  • Operate test and metering equipment to assess equipment condition and performance
  • Maintain flexible work schedule and accommodate overtime and shift rotations as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, including uploading and downloading PLCs
  • Demonstrated expertise in System Control Software (SCS), scanners, photo sensors, remote Input/Output (I/O) modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives
  • Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution center, or manufacturing environment (or Associates Degree in Industrial/Maintenance Technology plus 2 years of relevant maintenance experience)
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Extensive mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
  • Experience with automated process control or MHE maintenance
  • Previous hands-on experience implementing and enforcing lock-out/tag-out procedures and OSHA fall protection protocols
  • Ability to safely operate scissor lifts and other aerial equipment at heights up to 32 feet
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift

Experience

Applicants with an Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology may satisfy this requirement with a minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience. At least 6 months of specific experience with PLC logic principles, system control software, and related industrial electronics is required. Previous experience with automated process control, material handling equipment maintenance, and OSHA compliance protocols is essential.

Education

Associates Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent is required.
