Maintenance Technician III position at Sephora Distribution Center in Avon, IN—$34.50–$36.90/hr, Friday–Sunday days, PLC and HVAC expertise required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete preventive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
  • Assess, perform, and properly document necessary equipment and facility repairs, adjustments, and upgrades
  • Competently complete complex mechanical and electrical equipment repairs and facility upgrades
  • Conduct required OSHA and state-mandated training pertaining to maintenance and sanitation activities
  • Comply with all safety laws and Sephora safety policies; report violations and potential violations to management
  • Maintain flexible work schedule and adhere to designated shift and overtime requirements
  • Collaborate with local service providers, inspectors, property asset managers, and other technicians to ensure optimal building and equipment functional performance

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, uploading and downloading PLCs, System Control Software (SCSs), scanners, electronics such as photo sensors, remote Input/Output modules (I/Os), servo drives, and variable frequency drives
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment, OR at least 4 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment
  • Automated Process Control or MHE maintenance experience
  • Previous experience using and enforcing Lock-out/Tag-out process, fall protection, and other OSHA regulations
  • Extensive mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair capability
  • Proficiency with various test and metering equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices for MHE, conveyors, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic equipment
  • Knowledge of and experience in repairing and maintaining HVAC systems
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings

Extensive background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance is required.

Education

Associate's Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. CFM, Electrical, HVAC, and lift truck certifications or licenses are strongly preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 34.50 to USD 36.90 per hour.
