Sephora in Avon, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician III at its Omni‑Channel Distribution Center; full‑time role with hourly pay $34.50–$36.90.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect, monitor and maintain facility structure, building grounds, and warehousing equipment to ensure safe, continuous operation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motorized material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and building HVAC systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and complete complex mechanical and electrical repairs and upgrades on standard distribution‑center equipment.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic and metering instruments, shop tools, scissor lifts and other lifting equipment safely and competently.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities and parts usage; coordinate work with external service providers, inspectors and property asset managers.
- Conduct and comply with OSHA and state‑mandated safety and sanitation training; enforce Lock‑out/Tag‑out, fall protection and other safety procedures.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to support designated shifts and required overtime, including potential shift differentials.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months hands‑on experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, including uploading/downloading PLCs and working with PLC‑based systems.
- Associate’s degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology preferred; with degree, minimum 2 years maintenance experience in facilities, distribution or manufacturing required.
- Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution or manufacturing environment without degree.
- Demonstrated experience with MHE, conveyor systems, HVAC maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, welding and fabrication.
- Familiarity with Lock‑out/Tag‑out procedures, fall protection and OSHA safety regulations.
- Preferred certifications/licenses: CFM, electrical, HVAC, lift truck (forklift) and related trade credentials.

Experience
Requires hands‑on maintenance experience in a facilities, distribution or manufacturing environment (2 years with an Associate’s degree or 4 years without). Must have at least 6 months of PLC experience; experience troubleshooting conveyors, MHE, HVAC and industrial electrical systems is essential. (Note: ATS metadata lists a minimum of 10 years.)

Associate’s degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology preferred; equivalent combination of technical education and experience accepted.
