Sephora is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician II for its Mississippi Distribution Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi, to maintain and repair facility systems and equipment. The role performs preventive and predictive maintenance, supports building and equipment needs, and follows safety requirements; the target hourly pay is $30.25–$32.35, with actual pay dependent on qualifications, experience, market starting wages, and other position- or location-specific factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and equipment to keep the distribution center safe, reliable, and operational.
- Perform and document preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and upgrades for material handling equipment, conveyors, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and facility equipment.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, hand and power tools, and shop equipment; perform general facility repairs, labor, custodial duties, and event support as needed.
- Work with internal teams, service providers, inspectors, and facility partners to support equipment and building needs while providing high-quality customer service.
- Follow company, state, and OSHA safety requirements, use equipment safely, and promptly report actual or potential safety concerns.
- Maintain reliable attendance and a flexible schedule, including designated shifts and overtime as needed to support facility and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, conveyors, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including lubrication, adjustments, setup, and calibration.
- Safely use hand and power tools and shop equipment, read schematics and mechanical drawings, and apply preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Communicate positively, work effectively with others, and maintain a professional, service-focused approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical training and/or experience.
- 2–3 years of maintenance mechanic or equivalent experience and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience required.
- Automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance experience required.
- Formal technical training, welding, or fabrication experience preferred.
- Work on site in warehouse, office, indoor, and outdoor environments with varying temperature, weather, dust, fumes, and noise.
- Availability may be required for evenings or weekends.
- Able to stand, walk, sit, squat, safely lift up to 50 lbs., operate material handling equipment and power tools, and work at heights up to 32 feet using appropriate lift equipment.
