Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect, monitor and maintain facility structure, building systems and surrounding grounds to ensure continuous, safe operations.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motorized material handling equipment, conveyors and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose, repair and adjust mechanical and electrical equipment; accurately document repairs, parts used and maintenance activities.
- Execute equipment and facility repairs, upgrades and custodial maintenance as assigned.
- Operate hand and power tools, shop equipment and mobile lifts (including scissor lifts) to complete maintenance tasks safely.
- Support set-up, tear-down and clean-up for company events, meetings and site functions.
- Comply with all safety, loss prevention and regulatory requirements; report hazards and participate in safety programs.
- Maintain flexible schedule and work required overtime or shift differentials according to operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training and/or vocational coursework in mechanical/electrical trades preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent; distribution center, manufacturing or facility maintenance experience preferred (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Demonstrated background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair; experience with HVAC systems.
- Experience with automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights (up to ~32 feet), and perform physically demanding tasks for the duration of scheduled shifts.
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings, and to document maintenance activity accurately.
- Valid certifications or licenses (e.g., forklift, scissor lift, HVAC certifications) a plus where applicable.

At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician, with practical exposure to mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC repair and material handling equipment; distribution center or industrial facility experience preferred.
