Maintenance Technician II at Sephora Las Vegas Distribution Center | Full-time | $30.25–$32.35/hr
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
- Assess, perform, and document equipment repairs and adjustments with technical accuracy
- Conduct facility repairs and upgrades as assigned by Maintenance/Facilities Management
- Perform custodial repairs and maintain building grounds and structural integrity
- Assist in setup, teardown, and cleanup of company events and social functions
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics and engineering drawings accurately
- Operate standard hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and proficiently
- Maintain flexible scheduling and work required overtime based on operational demands
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs in compliance systems
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with technical training or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent role
- Demonstrated background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work at heights up to 32 feet with scissor lifts and warehouse equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of practical hands-on experience as a maintenance mechanic or in an equivalent maintenance role, with demonstrated competency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of automated material handling and conveyor systems.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance, HVAC systems, or related field strongly preferred.
