Sephora Maintenance Technician II, Avon IN – Full-time position performing preventive maintenance on equipment and HVAC systems at distribution center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately complete preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and building HVAC systems
- Assess, perform, and properly document necessary equipment repairs and adjustments
- Competently complete equipment and facility repairs and upgrades as assigned
- Perform custodial repairs and assist in setup, tear down, and cleanup of company social functions and events
- Comply with all safety laws and Sephora safety policies; report safety violations and potential hazards to supervisory personnel
- Comply with all company loss prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including required overtime based on business needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical training and/or experience
- Two to three years of practical experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent
- Background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment maintenance
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
- Manual dexterity to safely and competently operate power tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfort working at heights of up to 32 feet using scissor lifts and warehouse equipment
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of practical experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent, with demonstrated expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Background in Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment maintenance is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent with technical training and/or experience in mechanical systems or maintenance disciplines.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Avon, Indiana, USA, with easy access to Indianapolis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 30.50 to USD 32.65 per hour.
