Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems.
  • Assess, perform, and document necessary equipment repairs and adjustments.
  • Complete equipment and facility repairs and upgrades as assigned.
  • Assist in custodial repairs and the setup, teardown, and cleanup of company events.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Report safety violations to supervisory or management personnel.
  • Adhere to company loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including required overtime.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with technical training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent.
  • Background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Skills

Knowledge of maintenance practices for motorized material handling equipment, conveyors, and HVAC systems. Proficiency in operating standard hand/power tools and shop equipment. Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and needs. Positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent with technical training.
