Sephora — Maintenance Technician I at Maryland Distribution Center, Middle River, MD. Full-time role, hourly pay $27.50–$29.45.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs to building systems, fixtures and equipment including plumbing, painting and general facility upkeep.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling and warehousing equipment, including lubrication, adjustments, set-up and simple repairs.
  • Check, change and maintain powered industrial truck batteries and related charging equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools, scissor lifts and other warehouse lift equipment to complete maintenance assignments safely.
  • Accurately document equipment repairs, adjustments and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide general labor and custodial support; assist with set up, tear down and clean up for company events.
  • Adhere to all safety and loss-prevention policies, report hazards, and work required overtime or flexible schedules as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training and/or relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair; material handling equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings and perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Proficient and safe operation of standard hand/power tools and shop equipment; experience with scissor lifts and powered industrial trucks.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/squat/walk for the duration of a shift, and work at heights up to 32 feet.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Experience
