Sephora Maintenance Technician I position in Avon, IN — full-time equipment maintenance and facility repairs at distribution center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Competently complete equipment and facility repairs and upgrades in plumbing, painting, and general facility upkeep
- Accurately perform preventive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling equipment and warehousing systems, including lubrication, cleaning, and repairs
- Check, change, and service powered industrial truck batteries according to safety protocols
- Document equipment repairs and adjustments with accuracy and completeness
- Operate motorized material handling equipment as necessary to complete maintenance assignments
- Provide general labor support, custodial work, and household fixture repairs as assigned
- Assist in setup, teardown, and cleanup of company social functions, meetings, and events
- Comply with all SEPHORA safety policies, loss prevention procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Respond flexibly to changing priorities and business needs, including required overtime
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with technical training and/or hands-on experience
- Demonstrated background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency with standard hand and power tools and shop equipment
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Material handling equipment maintenance experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfort working at heights up to 32 feet when operating scissor lifts and warehouse equipment
- Manual dexterity for safe operation of power tools and mechanical equipment

Entry-level position requiring foundational background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. Material handling equipment maintenance experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent with technical training and/or relevant hands-on maintenance experience.
