Sephora is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Avon, IN at the Omni‑Channel Distribution Center. Full-time hourly role ($26.50–$28.35/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and distribution equipment, including plumbing, painting and general facility upkeep.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on motorized material handling and warehousing equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, adjustments and basic repairs.
- Inspect, change and maintain batteries for powered industrial trucks and document all repairs, adjustments and maintenance activities accurately.
- Operate hand and power tools, shop equipment and motorized material handling equipment safely to complete maintenance assignments.
- Provide general labor and custodial support; assist with set up, tear down and clean up for company events as directed.
- Comply with all safety and loss-prevention policies, report hazards, and work flexible schedules including required overtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, vocational coursework or relevant mechanical coursework preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with experience or training in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and the ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools and to safely use warehouse lifting equipment; manual dexterity required.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for full shifts and work at heights (up to ~32 feet) when required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs dictate.

Experience
Entry-level maintenance role; candidates should have basic mechanical maintenance training or prior experience. Material handling equipment maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26.50 to USD 28.35 per hour.
