Sephora Maintenance Supervisor, Distribution Center role in Avon, IN. Oversee facilities operations, supervise maintenance team, manage equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department and coordinate work assignments for Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation personnel
- Direct assessment, repair, and documentation of equipment and facility preventative maintenance activities
- Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance for motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, HVAC systems, and automated storage systems
- Anticipate potential facility and equipment problems and develop proactive action plans in partnership with the Facilities Manager
- Maintain parts inventory to optimize service efficiency and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-mandated safety standards for maintenance, mechanical activities, and housekeeping
- Conduct OSHA and state-mandated training on maintenance and facility management requirements
- Provide training and professional development guidance to Maintenance Team members
- Evaluate Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates against performance standards and safety compliance metrics
- Assess Warehouse Control System software and conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure work completion meets contractual terms and specifications
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree or 3+ years of facilities and maintenance supervision experience, preferably in a Distribution Center or warehousing environment
- Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment maintenance experience
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with HVAC systems
- Experience using, training, and enforcing Lock-out/Tag-out procedures, fall protection, and OSHA and state safety regulations
- Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills
- Project management and time management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Skills
Experience
3 or more years of facilities and maintenance supervision experience, preferably in a Distribution Center or warehousing environment. Additional preferred experience includes welding and fabrication, formal electrical/electronic technician or mechanical millwright training, and CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) certification or pursuit thereof.
Education
Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience in facilities management. Formal electrical/electronic, technician, or mechanical millwright training is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,140 to USD 83,980 per annum.
