Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire, coach and supervise Asset Protection Partners across the Times Square store; partner with store leadership to align priorities and drive results.
  • Design and implement asset protection and shrink‑reduction plans with emphasis on high‑risk departments; analyze metrics and refine tactics to improve performance.
  • Lead store safety and profit‑protection programs, including deterrence and response training for partners.
  • Conduct and oversee investigations into discrepancies, fraud and misconduct; ensure compliance with AP standards and support prosecution when appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain asset protection systems and protocols (CCTV, alarms, locks) and ensure correct usage of AP tools and retail systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retail peers, mall/property teams, industry groups and law enforcement to enhance security and response.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in asset protection or loss prevention, preferably across multiple locations.
  • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to recruit, develop and coach front‑line security or AP teams.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting investigative interviews and handling internal fraud investigations; Wicklander‑Zulawski or similar training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of retail criminal and civil law, and consistent, ethical application of policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment under pressure, and discretion handling sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency with AP systems and retail technologies; competency in Microsoft Office and point‑of‑sale/inventory tools.
