Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, hire and provide day‑to‑day supervision, coaching and performance management for Asset Protection Partners at the NY‑34th Street store; partner with store leadership to align AP strategy with sales and operational goals.
- Design and implement shrink‑reduction plans focused on high‑risk departments; analyze shrink data and adjust tactics to improve results.
- Direct store safety programs, including deterrence, response training and profit protection initiatives to ensure a secure client and team environment.
- Investigate discrepancies, internal and external theft, fraud and misconduct; ensure appropriate documentation, escalation and support for prosecution when warranted.
- Maintain and ensure correct usage of asset protection systems and physical security (CCTV, alarms, locks) and integrate AP procedures with POS and inventory controls.
- Build and sustain external partnerships with mall/property management, local law enforcement and retail industry groups to enhance incident response and recovery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in asset protection or loss prevention, ideally with multi‑location retail exposure.
- Proven leadership experience supervising AP or loss prevention teams and partnering effectively with store management.
- Demonstrated investigative experience, including investigative interviewing; Wicklander‑Zulawski training preferred.
- Working knowledge of retail criminal/civil law, compliance procedures and consistent policy application.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion and sound ethical judgment under pressure.
- Proficiency with asset protection technology and retail systems (see required skills).

Experience
Minimum three years in asset protection or loss prevention roles with supervisory responsibility; experience in multi‑location retail environments and investigative casework preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field preferred.
