Sephora — Asset Protection Partner, Soho (New York). Hourly role ($25–$29.50/hr) focused on store safety, loss prevention and incident response.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the selling floor (approximately 75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service and foster a safe environment.
  • Monitor store activity using CCTV and company reporting tools to detect, investigate and document shrink and safety incidents.
  • Respond to incidents with professional, safety-first de-escalation techniques while preserving the client experience; escalate and document matters per company procedure.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Conduct audits, prepare loss-prevention reports and maintain compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
  • Support multiple store locations as required and represent the company in legal proceedings, including providing testimony if called.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
  • Demonstrated skill in conflict de-escalation and incident management.
  • Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss-reporting tools; strong attention to detail in investigations and documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with store leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays; full-time availability (30–40 hours/week) and reliable attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience
