Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Toronto, ON. Full-time loss prevention role protecting store assets with CCTV surveillance and theft deterrence. CAD$25–$30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter individuals from committing external theft
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers
- Provide new hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections
- Communicate findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Assist store leadership with inventory preparation and processes
- Partner with stores and District Loss Prevention Manager in developing and executing shrinkage prevention plans
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases when summoned
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- All provincial or local licensing requirements for asset protection role (as applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques
- Flexibility to work multiple locations within a market
- Ability to work fragrance-filled retail environment
- Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and bend/stretch to stock shelves

Experience
Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment; however, the position profile references minimum 3 years experience which suggests preference for more extensive background in this specialized function.
