Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor for part-time beauty services at Ridge Hill, Yonkers, NY; $24–$27.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application, waxing, and other licensed beauty services from Sephora's Beauty Services menu
- Drive sales results and rebooking of beauty services by delivering personalized client experiences
- Maintain current beauty industry knowledge, product expertise, and trending techniques to educate and empower clients
- Sustain active state licensure and uphold all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment that celebrates diversity and empowers all colleagues
- Ensure compliance with Sephora policies and contribute to a safe, secure, and welcoming shopping experience
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false lash services in New York
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar licensed beauty services role, or in retail, hospitality, or service environments
- Strong product knowledge and familiarity with beauty trends, techniques, and Sephora's service offerings
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized service and cultivate lasting client relationships
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Punctuality, consistent attendance, and availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays)

1–3 years in a similar licensed beauty role or in retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environments

Active state license (New York) to perform waxing, makeup application, and false lash services
