Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store beauty services including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application in accordance with the Beauty Services menu.
- Provide personalised client consultations that educate, inspire and drive product and service sales; rebook appointments to cultivate repeat clientele.
- Achieve individual and store performance targets through service conversion, retail sales and client retention.
- Maintain all required professional licensure and rigorously uphold health, safety and sanitation standards for services and treatments.
- Represent Sephora standards on the sales floor by following company policies, supporting a safe shopping environment and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively within the store team to promote inclusivity, share product knowledge and support operational needs during peak retail hours.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services are delivered (required).
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments.
- Demonstrable product knowledge across skincare, cosmetics and fragrance, with an ability to translate trends into tailored recommendations.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build long-term client relationships.
- Availability to work retail peak hours including evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform prolonged periods of standing.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a beauty services role or other customer-facing retail, hospitality, or service position.
Education
State cosmetology or esthetician license required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
