Sephora seeks a Part‑Time Licensed Beauty Advisor in West Nyack, NY to provide makeup, waxing and lash services. $24–$31/hr.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application in accordance with Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Provide personalized client consultations to recommend products and services, drive retail sales and rebook follow-up appointments.
- Maintain active licensure and rigorously observe health, safety and sanitation protocols while upholding store standards and policies.
- Contribute to store performance by meeting service and sales targets, supporting merchandising and participating in team initiatives.
- Support an inclusive, client-first environment through collaborative teamwork, punctual attendance and flexible availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash services where services are delivered.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across skincare and cosmetics and ability to educate clients.
- Strong client-service orientation with aptitude for building lasting client relationships and rebooking services.
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a client-facing beauty or retail role, or comparable experience in hospitality or service environments. Demonstrated history of delivering beauty services and driving client rebookings is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics, or related vocational training preferred in addition to required licensure.
