Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in alignment with the Sephora Beauty Studio menu, including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application.
- Drive sales and service metrics by converting consultations into product sales and rebooking follow-up beauty appointments.
- Provide personalised client consultations, educate clients on product use and trends, and curate product recommendations based on individual needs.
- Maintain active state licensure and consistently apply sanitation, hygiene and safety protocols for all treatments.
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment by collaborating with colleagues and promoting Sephora’s standards of customer service.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure and enjoyable in-store experience for clients and team members.
- Meet scheduling requirements including availability for nights, weekends and holiday shifts and demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application and false-lash services in the state where services are provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a comparable role or within retail, hospitality, or service environments.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, techniques and current trends.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team and quickly assimilate product training.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service settings, demonstrating client-facing service delivery and basic retail sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a cosmetology or esthetics program and state licensure/certification as required.
