Sephora in Tigard, OR is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor to deliver makeup and waxing services at Bridgeport Village (hourly role).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application per Sephora’s service menu.
- Consult with clients to assess needs, recommend products and services, and personalise regimens to build lasting relationships.
- Drive store performance by booking and rebooking beauty services, achieving individual sales targets and promoting products.
- Maintain active professional licensure and adhere strictly to health, safety and hygiene protocols.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store culture by supporting teammates, participating in training and following Sephora operational standards.
Qualifications
- Active state license authorising waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in the state where services are performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or customer service environments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deliver personalised client service and build loyalty.
- Flexible availability to work retail peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience in beauty services, cosmetology/esthetician practice, or customer-facing retail/hospitality roles; experience delivering paid beauty services is preferred.
Education
Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or esthetician program and possession of the required state license; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Tigard, Oregon, USA, with easy access to Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
