Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized beauty guidance and product recommendations to clients visiting the Beauty Studio
• Perform makeup application, waxing, and false lash services in compliance with state licensing requirements
• Educate clients on beauty trends, product knowledge, and skincare techniques to empower informed purchasing decisions
• Drive sales and beauty services revenue while maintaining client retention and rebooking records
• Maintain active state licensing and uphold all health, safety, and hygiene protocols consistently
• Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture that celebrates diversity and promotes client belonging
• Meet minimum weekly shift requirements (15–29 hours for part-time staff) and ensure punctual, reliable attendance
• Support store operations during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons

Qualifications

• Active state license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false lash services
• 1–3 years of professional experience in beauty services, retail sales, hospitality, or customer service
• Strong working knowledge of beauty products, services, current trends, and application techniques
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional, personalized client service and build lasting client relationships
• Collaborative team player with ability to thrive in goal-oriented retail environments
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by retail operations

Skills

Experience

1–3 years of professional experience in a similar beauty services role, or in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service environments.

Education

Active professional license required for waxing, makeup, and false lash application services in the state of Texas.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.75 to USD 24.88 per hour.
