Sephora in Sugar Land, TX is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time). Join the Beauty Studio to provide makeup, waxing and client consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing, and false eyelash services in accordance with Sephora’s Service Menu.
- Drive retail performance by recommending, selling and rebooking beauty services and products to meet store targets and client needs.
- Provide personalised client consultations that educate and empower clients on products, techniques and routines.
- Maintain active licensure, adhere to all health, safety and sanitation protocols, and ensure service areas meet Sephora hygiene standards.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store initiatives to create an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain reliable availability for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet required minimum weekly hours for the part-time role.
Qualifications
- Active, state-issued license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services are provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role or within retail, hospitality or customer service environments.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and to build long-term client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, current trends and application techniques.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
