Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services listed on the Beauty Studio menu, including makeup application, waxing and false‑lash application, to provide an elevated client experience.
  • Drive sales and service rebookings by recommending products and follow‑up services tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Maintain active professional licensure and adhere to all health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Educate and consult with clients about product benefits, application techniques and beauty trends to build lasting relationships.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store culture and uphold Sephora’s operational standards and company policies.
  • Be reliably available for scheduled shifts, including peak retail hours, nights, weekends and holidays as required by store staffing needs.

Qualifications

  • Active cosmetology/esthetician/makeup license valid in the state where services are performed (required).
  • 1–3 years of customer‑facing experience in a beauty services, retail, hospitality or related environment.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge across prestige beauty categories and current industry trends.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Punctual, dependable with flexibility to work scheduled shifts during peak retail hours.
