Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services in-store according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application.
  • Achieve store performance goals by converting consultations into product sales and rebooking paid beauty services.
  • Conduct personalised client consultations to recommend products and services, educating clients on trends, routines and product usage.
  • Maintain active state licensure and comply with health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture that upholds Sephora service standards and company policies.
  • Adhere to scheduling requirements and maintain reliable attendance, including availability for nights, weekends and holiday peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Active state license authorizing waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services are performed.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments; entry-level candidates with required licensure may be considered.
  • Demonstrable product knowledge across skincare, makeup and beauty tools; keeps current with industry trends.
  • Strong client service orientation with ability to build lasting client relationships and personalised service plans.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform services while standing for extended periods.
  • Punctual, reliable and able to meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements.

Experience
